If you really want to learn and enjoy to dance Ballroom, Latin American, Street or Club Latin, then you cannot go past "BAGHEERA'S The Dance Place", named after the black panther in Kipling's classic "The Jungle Book".

BAGHEERA'S is air-conditioned with soft and subtle décor, lots of mirrors, impressive acoustics and lighting effects, and a superb "Air Thrust" rubber sprung parquetry floor of the type now commonly used in the major indoor sports stadia around the world.

BAGHEERA'S The Dance Place caters from tiny-tots to adults and lessons are available for beginners to advanced dancers. Teachers and Coaches are of the highest caliber and include several past Australian champions and are well qualified to give you enjoyment at whatever level of commitment sought by individuals or couples.

BAGHEERA'S The Dance Place commenced business in August 1991 under the direction of Wynne (dec 'd 2001) and Bernard Brickhill and Malcolm Batty. Its principals and coaches are members of Dancesport Australia and its principals and teachers are members of the Australian Dancing Society.  

PRINCIPALS
Malcolm Batty
Was a professional dancer and teacher from the age of 14 and won many titles throughout Australia. Is one of the most sought after teacher/coaches in the country. Malcolm is a Director of Dancesport Australia and the Australian Dancing Society (ADS) and is a past ADS chairman. He is also a coaching delegate on the committee of Dancesport Victoria. He holds a current Adjudicator's card in all styles.
 

Bernard Brickhill
A Fellow of the Australian Society of Certified Practicing Accountants, an accounting background formed the basis of a 34 year international sales/marketing career spanning all continents. Bernard's responsibilities extend to the marketing and administration of the business and a direct interest in the involvement of social dancers.
