ADULT CLASSES

Club Latin (or Street Latin)
Catch on to the latest in dance.
It's on at 8:30pm on Tuesdays and over a short time you will learn the vibrant rhythms of Mambo, Salsa, Merengue, and Lambada ; and we will throw in a little Argentine Tango from time to time for something different, this time from the streets of Buenos Aires. It is all fun with a passion. Pure enjoyment.

Ballroom, Latin American, New Vogue
8.00pm Wednesdays
is the time to put on your dancing shoes and become "Fred" or "Ginger" for the night. The evening commences with a Social Class structured to cover dances from each of the three branches of ballroom dancing, that is Standard Ballroom, Latin American and New Vogue. This is followed by an hour of dancing during which you will taught dances which are on the programme, but may be new to you

Standard Ballroom
Social Classes are taught Modern Waltz, Quickstep, and Foxtrot, and when they advance to the Intermediate level they extend their knowledge in these dances and add Tango to their repertoire.

Latin American
Cha Cha, Rumba, Samba and Jive are covered in classes with choreography advancing from basic to more exciting moves as you go to the Intermediate level.

New Vogue
The most popular dances performed at Community venues, Weddings etc are covered in the Social Class. These include the Evening Three Step and the Barn Dance. The trickier and more complex New Vogue Dances are covered in the Intermediate level. Dances such as the Barclay Blues, Lucille, La Bomba are enjoyed in this class.

TEENAGE NIGHT
It’s cool to be at BAGHEERA’S on a Friday night from 8.00pm to 9.30pm
It’s the latest music and strictly for Teenagers.

CHILDREN’S CLASSES
Saturday morning means excitement !

Our 2 to 4 year old TINY TOTS set the pace from 10.00am as they jump and move to "Hi 5", "The Wiggles" and others.

At 10.30am the PREPS (4 to 6 years) enjoy their half hour class following their teacher’s every move.

The one hour CHILDREN’s Class for 6 to 12 year olds also begins at 11.00am. This very successful class which covers Ballroom, Latin, Party Dances and Progressive Dances has produced many excellent dancers, many of whom have gone on to success at the competition level.

INDIVIDUAL TUITION
Individual Tuition is available form Beginner to Elite level outside the times Group Classes are held. Booking is essential, by phoning 9796 5336 or visiting us at the studio.
